Jennifer Owen

Jennifer Owen has been engaged as a specialist gambling researcher and consultant since 1996, initially at Macquarie Bank and then at Citi from 2000 to 2012. Since 2012, she has consulted independently as Owen Gaming Research. She has a detailed knowledge of the Australasian and international gambling landscape. Detailed work done includes independent expert reports to major organisations engaged in the Gambling Industry in Australia and internationally. In particular, she is an acknowledged expert in Wagering markets in Australia and has spoken at international Racing conferences in Hong Kong and the US, as well as in Australia. She has undertaken work for private clients to assist in presenting their businesses for sale, and provided independent analysis of particular industry issues relating to Racing and Wagering for a number of clients. Jennifer served on the Board of Racing NSW between 2015-2016, and now sits on the board of SkyCity Entertainment Limited.
