Ansell Limited has announced the appointment of Nathalie Ahlström as its new Chief Executive Officer. Ahlström, who previously served as CEO and President of Fiskars Group, will succeed Neil Salmon, who is retiring after 13 years with the company. Ansell, in its ASX announcement, stated that Ahlström brings a wealth of global experience to the role. Ansell is a global leader in providing protection solutions. The company manufactures and markets protective solutions used in a variety of industries, including healthcare and manufacturing.
Ahlström is set to commence a transition period with Ansell on 26 January 2026, before officially taking over the CEO position on February 16. She will be based at Ansell’s Brussels hub in Belgium. Salmon will continue to support the company, serving as a special advisor to the board and the incoming CEO until June 30.
Nigel Garrard, Chairman of Ansell, expressed confidence in Ahlström’s ability to lead the company forward. “Nathalie brings exceptional leadership experience, a track record of delivering results in complex global markets, and a deep understanding of innovation and operational excellence,” Garrard stated. He added that her strategic vision would be instrumental in strengthening Ansell’s market position and delivering long-term value to stakeholders. The transition is expected to be seamless, ensuring continued stability and growth for Ansell.
