Cauldron Energy Limited (ASX: CXU) announced on 2 September 2026 that its exploration drilling program has significantly expanded uranium mineralisation at the Manyingee South and Manyingee North deposits within its Yanrey Uranium Project in Western Australia. Cauldron Energy Limited is an ASX-listed uranium-focussed company. It is the 100% owner of the Yanrey Uranium Project, which covers over 80 kilometres of prospective palaeochannel systems.
At the Manyingee South deposit, results from 19 drill holes extended mineralisation approximately 2,500 metres upstream, beyond the limits of the current 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) resource polygon. Infill drilling in the D roll-front zone also encountered well-developed mineralisation, extending the high-grade area approximately 200 metres to the north and 300 metres to the west. The Manyingee South deposit holds an existing Inferred MRE of 21.2 million tonnes containing 14.9 million pounds of eU3O8 at an average grade of 319 ppm.
Concurrently, results from 21 drill holes at Manyingee North demonstrated the continuation of mineralisation for several kilometres. Step-out exploration drilling extended mineralisation at Manyingee North approximately 2,500 metres northwards and 550 metres to the south. This deposit has an existing Inferred MRE of 14.9 million tonnes containing 9.8 million pounds of eU3O8 at an average grade of 297 ppm. Significant drill intercepts included 4.56 metres at 346.3 ppm eU3O8 from 75.16 metres at Manyingee South.
Cauldron CEO Jonathan Fisher noted the 2026 drill program’s productivity and the significant expansion at Manyingee South. He emphasised the prolific nature of the Yanrey uranium mineralisation and the company’s strategy to maximise the potential of its MRE polygons. Cauldron recently completed further heritage clearance to enable additional drilling at Manyingee South and North, as well as new targets identified by a recent passive seismic survey. The Yanrey Uranium Project hosts over 30 identified palaeochannels, many of which are yet to be tested.
