Smart Parking Limited (ASX: SPZ), an ASX-listed company specialising in car park management services and the development of Smart City and IoT technology products for the parking market globally, has announced a strong financial performance for the year ended 30 June 2026 (FY26). The preliminary final report reveals a 63% surge in total revenue to $126.3 million, up from $77.3 million in the prior corresponding period. Net statutory profit after tax attributable to members also saw a substantial increase of 28% to $6.9 million, compared to $5.4 million in FY25. Adjusted EBITDA rose by 50% to $30.8 million, indicating robust operational efficiency.

The impressive growth was largely propelled by underlying business momentum, increased sales activity, enhanced debt resolution processes in the United Kingdom, and the full-year contribution from the FY25 US acquisition. Regionally, the UK business reported a 62% revenue increase to $84.9 million, while New Zealand and Germany also delivered strong growth with revenues of $8.8 million (up 19%) and $5.6 million (up 40%) respectively. The US operations, bolstered by the Peak Parking acquisition, contributed $25.3 million in revenue and $6.3 million in Adjusted EBITDA during FY26. Meanwhile, the company invested $3.9 million to establish a new territory in Switzerland, though its Denmark business was impacted by regulatory changes, leading to reduced revenue.

Smart Parking continued its strategic expansion, adding 503 new ANPR sites, resulting in a net 16% increase in sites under management and bringing the total to 2,083. The company maintained a strong cash position, with cash on hand increasing to $17.4 million at 30 June 2026. Following the reporting period, on 1 July 2026, Smart Parking further expanded its US footprint through the acquisition of American Auto Parks LLC (American Parking) for $17.2 million. This move is expected to leverage Smart Parking’s proprietary technology and operational expertise in a key growth market, with funding partially secured from its existing debt facility.
