Ragnar Metals Limited (ASX: RAG) has released its Appendix 5B quarterly cash flow report for the period ending 30 September 2026, revealing a cash and cash equivalents balance of $87,000 at the quarter’s close. As a mining exploration entity primarily focused on the discovery and development of mineral resources, its operations involve geological surveys, drilling, and resource evaluation in various project areas. The report indicates a net cash outflow from operating activities of $122,000 for the quarter.
During the quarter, the company’s operational expenditures included $15,000 for staff costs and $114,000 for administration and corporate costs, offset by minor customer receipts and interest income. Cash flows from investing activities resulted in a net outflow of $23,000. This included significant payments of $405,000 for exploration and evaluation activities, largely offset by proceeds of $382,000 from the disposal of investments.
The report also highlighted an estimated 0.16 quarters of funding available based on current cash reserves and relevant outgoings. In response to this, Ragnar Metals confirmed it expects to continue experiencing negative operating cash flows as an exploration entity not yet generating revenue. The company expressed confidence in its ability to secure additional funding when required, citing a track record of successful fundraising efforts and an expectation of ongoing satisfactory exploration results. Furthermore, Ragnar Metals indicated it retains access to its portfolio of highly liquid shares to support future operations.
Based on these factors, the board believes the company will be able to continue its current operations and meet its business objectives. The Appendix 5B report was authorised for release by the board on 29 October 2026.
