ASX-listed explorer adds Northeast and South areas to Brazilian rare earth and bauxite-gallium campaign.

Eminence Minerals Limited (ASX:EMA) has announced a significant expansion of its auger drilling campaign at the 100 per cent-owned Campo Grande Project in Bahia, Brazil. The company, an exploration firm focused on identifying and developing mineral resources, has completed the initial phase of drilling across several priority areas and has now identified new high-priority targets for systematic testing.

The initial phase of auger drilling at Targets 1 to 4 has concluded, with 30 holes completed across Targets 2, 3, and 4. Drilling at Targets 5 and 6 is well underway, with 11 holes drilled as of 10 August 2026. Eminence Minerals has commenced dispatching samples from Targets 3 and 4 to the SGS GEOSOL laboratory in Vespasiano, Brazil, with assay results expected in September/October 2026, subject to laboratory turnaround times. Drilling at Targets 1 and 2 was discontinued after encountering shallow bedrock unsuitable for the targeted regolith profile.

The expanded program introduces two new high-priority areas: the Northeast Target and the South Target. An auger program of up to 70 holes is planned for the Northeast Target, which is interpreted as a potential continuation of the Amargosa Bauxite-Gallium trend into Eminence’s tenure. Landowner access has been secured for eight drill collars at this target, allowing drilling to commence immediately. A further 67-hole auger program is slated for the South Target, pending landowner access agreements. Both new targets are selected to test for ion-adsorption clay rare earth elements (REEs) and bauxite-gallium mineralisation.

To accelerate the exploration pace, Eminence Minerals is mobilising a second drilling crew. Concurrent surface sampling programs will also be undertaken to expand geochemical coverage and refine future drill targeting across the broader Campo Grande Project area. CEO Anthony Hills expressed satisfaction with the program’s expansion, highlighting the encouraging potential of the new targets and the anticipated assay results from the ongoing campaign.
