Blue Star Helium Limited (ASX:BNL, OTC:BSNLF) has announced that the development of its Galactica helium and carbon dioxide processing facility is progressing as planned. Blue Star Helium is an independent helium exploration company focused on finding and developing new sources of low-cost, high-grade helium in North America. The company has confirmed it remains on schedule to deliver first helium output in December.
According to Blue Star, foundational and preparatory work is largely complete, with overall project scheduling demonstrating activities remain on track for commissioning and operational readiness during December 2025. All construction permits are in place, and surveying of gathering lines, the plant site and access road locations is complete. Gas gathering system engineering is also well advanced, with contractor selection, design, and material selection successfully completed.
General facility engineering is highly advanced with critical equipment packages selected. Technology review and vendor selection for the amine/CO2 removal unit and the helium recovery unit are both finalised, with the balance of plant equipment identification also completed. Blue Star Managing Director and CEO, Trent Spry, expressed his satisfaction with the progress, highlighting the strong momentum and successful completion of significant foundational work.
The company reaffirms its commitment to delivering first helium in December and first carbon dioxide in H1 2026. The Galactica plant is planned to be progressively ramped up to full capacity as wells are progressively tied in during H1 2026.
