ASX-listed water treatment technology firm proposes 100-for-1 share consolidation to streamline capital structure and attract broader investor interest.

Parkway Corporate Limited (ASX: PWN), a leading Australian water & wastewater treatment and process technology company focused on commercialising innovative process technologies in industrial markets to address global water sustainability challenges, has announced its intention to seek shareholder approval for a significant share capital consolidation. The Company’s Board will present a resolution at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 25 November 2026 to consolidate its issued share capital on a 100 to 1 basis. Under this proposal, every one hundred existing fully paid ordinary shares will be converted into one new fully paid ordinary share.

The proposed Consolidation follows Parkway’s strong financial performance, including an FY26 revenue of $19.9 million, representing a 31% increase from FY25. Despite this growth, the Company currently has a substantial 2,776,410,555 shares on issue. The Board assesses this as a disadvantage, having received consistent feedback from major and international shareholders, as well as prospective institutional investors. Simplifying the capital structure is considered vital for enhancing engagement with the industry and investment community.

Parkway anticipates that the Consolidation will yield several benefits. These include a more simplified capital structure with reduced trading inefficiencies, better alignment with comparable ASX-listed companies, and a share price that is more attractive to a wider spectrum of investors, particularly institutional and international funds. The move is also expected to improve the overall market perception of the Company. If approved, the number of shares on issue is expected to reduce to approximately 27,764,106, subject to rounding.

As the Consolidation applies equally to all shareholders, individual holdings will be reduced in the same ratio, thus having no material effect on the percentage interest of each shareholding. Furthermore, all options and performance rights currently on issue will be consolidated in the same ratio, with the exercise price of options adjusted in inverse proportion. The Parkway Board unanimously recommends that shareholders vote in favour of the proposed Consolidation at the upcoming AGM.
