Euroz Hartleys Group Limited (ASX:EZL), a prominent Australian financial services firm offering private wealth management, corporate advisory, and stockbroking services, today announced significant leadership changes aimed at bolstering its strategic direction. The company is pleased to appoint Mr. Alan Logan as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 26, 2026. This appointment precedes the anticipated completion of Euroz Hartleys’ transaction with BMO Financial Group. Mr. Logan brings an extensive track record in top-level wealth management from roles at Shadforth, Godfrey Pembroke, and MLC, possessing expertise in growing and leading financial services businesses with a strong focus on adviser relationships and organisational transformation.
Concurrently, Euroz Hartleys unveiled its new Board of Directors, set to take effect upon the completion of the BMO transaction. Jay Hughes, a co-founder of Euroz Securities Limited, will return to the board as Non-Executive Chairman. Mr. Hughes holds approximately 7.29% of the company and also serves as Non-Executive Chairman of gold producer Emerald Resources. In line with these changes, Non-Executive Directors Robin Romero and Fiona Kalaf will retire after several years of service to the company.
Andrew McKenzie, the outgoing Executive Chairman, and Tim Bunney will continue as Non-Executive Directors for the short to medium term as they transition to full-time roles with alliance partner BMO. Richard Simpson will maintain his position as a Non-Executive Director. Additionally, Andrew Fry and Michael Bartley will join the board as Executive Directors upon the close of the transaction. Both Mr. Fry and Mr. Bartley bring substantial experience as Private Wealth Advisers within Euroz Hartleys, with Mr. Fry having previously led Entrust Wealth Management. Mr. McKenzie noted that these appointments mark a “new chapter” for Euroz Hartleys, reinforcing its pure-play focus on the growth and optimisation of its Private Wealth business and leveraging the strategic alliance with BMO to benefit clients.
