Excite Technology Services Limited (ASX: EXT) today announced a significant expansion of a contract with an Australian Federal Government customer, valued at an additional $3.2 million for a further period of 24 months. The agreement involves the supply of specialised technology, software, and associated training, building upon a pre-existing relationship. Excite Technology Services Limited specialises in comprehensive cybersecurity services, encompassing threat prevention, managed cloud and IT solutions. The company also provides specialist digital forensics, incident response, forensic investigations, and accredited training focused on ensuring a safe Australia.
Due to the sensitive nature and security requirements inherent in the contract, the Company has not disclosed the specific identity of the customer, noting only its status as an agency of the Australian Federal Government. Excite considers this announcement to contain all material information relevant to the contract extension. The contract adheres to standard terms applicable to parties on the agency’s tender panel which submit business proposals. It should be noted that these standard head contract terms include a provision for the relevant agency to terminate the agreement or vary the scope or quantum of the services provided under the agreement at its discretion. This level of flexibility is a standard inclusion under engagements entered into with the Australian Federal Government.
