Impact Minerals Ltd (ASX: IPT), a mineral exploration and development company focused on building a differentiated position in high-purity alumina through its Alluminous and Lake Hope projects, has announced the successful completion of its renounceable rights issue. The capital raise, launched on August 17, 2026, secured $2,205,263 before costs. This initiative will result in the issue of 68,914,469 new fully paid ordinary shares and 45,942,980 new options. These options are exercisable at $0.06 each, expire on March 17, 2029, and will be quoted under the ASX code IPTO.
The rights issue saw $1,000,789 raised from entitlements taken up, comprising 31,274,621 shares and 20,849,760 options. An additional $1,204,475 was secured from the shortfall component, translating to 37,639,799 shares and 25,093,220 options. Impact also confirmed that a further 22,052,630 options will be issued to Mahe Capital Pty Ltd, which served as the Lead Manager and Underwriter. The company extended appreciation to its shareholders, noting a major shareholder, a German family office, took up their full entitlement, reflecting confidence in Impact’s future.
Impact’s Chair, Jim McKerlie, highlighted the strategic importance of the funding, stating that “The ongoing support for this raising comes at an important point in Impact’s evolution.” He elaborated that the capital allows for the acceleration of both the Alluminous and Lake Hope pathways, with piloting of the Lake Hope process now underway and the commissioning of the Alluminous pilot plant continuing. Mr. McKerlie added that the focus is on demonstrating these technologies at scale, producing material for customer qualification, and moving towards commercial milestones. New securities are expected to be issued on Friday, September 18.
