Ballymore Resources Limited (ASX: BMR), a Queensland-focused exploration and development company advancing a portfolio of gold and base metals projects, has reported further high-grade silver-lead-zinc-indium assay results from drilling at its Torpy’s discovery within the Ruddygore Project near Chillagoe in North Queensland. The latest findings confirm additional shallow, high-grade mineralisation, significantly bolstering the prospectivity of the area.
Among the notable intersections, drill hole BTPRC013 delivered a 2-metre interval grading an impressive 580.4 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 25.88% lead, 10.08% zinc, and 8.7 g/t indium from 46 metres. This intersection was part of a broader 7-metre zone in BTPRC013 yielding 170.0 g/t silver, 7.60% lead, 3.27% zinc, and 2.9 g/t indium from 44 metres. Additionally, BTPRC012 intersected 4 metres at 130.9 g/t silver, 4.78% lead, 0.64% zinc, and 1.4 g/t indium from 54 metres. These drill holes successfully extended significant mineralisation 40 metres up-dip from previous intersections, reinforcing Ballymore’s emerging high-grade shoot model. Individual 1-metre samples reached grades of up to 898.0 g/t silver, 39.59% lead, and 10.35% zinc.
Ballymore Managing Director, Mr David A-Izzeddin, commented that these results represent another important step forward for Torpy’s, with BTPRC013 delivering an exceptionally high-grade intersection. He noted that the new results consistently support their geological model, which indicates high-grade shoots developing along major fault structures. Mr A-Izzeddin expressed confidence in Torpy’s considerable growth potential, citing the combination of shallow mineralisation, strong grades, and multiple additional targets. The company awaits further assays and is preparing for a detailed drone magnetic survey to identify future drill targets across the wider Torpy’s district.
