EV Resources Confirms Four New Antimony Feeder Veins at Los Lirios

Extensive mapping and sampling at the Mexican project materially expand drill-ready target inventory and signal resource expansion potential.

EV Resources (ASX: EVR), a critical minerals exploration and development company focused on securing the North American antimony supply chain, announced on 20 August 2026 significant advancements at its 70%-owned Los Lirios Antimony Project in Oaxaca, Mexico. The company, which is rapidly transitioning towards an expected near-term antimony producer, has confirmed four new antimony feeder vein systems. This materially expands the drill-ready target inventory and indicates considerable resource expansion potential at Los Lirios, following a systematic geological reconnaissance and mapping program, with 31 channel samples submitted for analysis.

Mapping has confirmed four previously unrecognised mineralised vein systems at Los Lirios 1 – Santo Niño, San Juan, San Ramón, and JIU. These are interpreted as hydrothermal feeders to the carbonate replacement bodies hosting antimony mineralisation, suggesting a large-scale extension of the mineralised footprint. The program also defined a 900-metre by 200-metre San Benito–Cofradía corridor, where multiple replacement bodies, breccias, and feeder structures have been recognised. Additionally, four new hydrothermal breccia targets were identified. Strongest visual mineralisation, exposing coarse stibnite crystals, was observed at Tetlate Shaft 3.

Environmental authorisation for the second phase of drilling has been confirmed, with a phased diamond drilling program now being designed to test the interpreted breccia pipes and feeder-carbonate replacement intersections. Interim CEO Miguel Barahona commented on the expanding system, noting the progress from one mineralised corridor to numerous new targets, with observable sizeable stibnite crystals. He highlighted that the 31 samples, currently with the laboratory, will guide the next phase of drilling as EV Resources advances towards a maiden JORC Mineral Resource at Los Lirios. Assay results are expected in the coming weeks.
