Ore Resources Ltd (ASX: OR3) announced today, 19 August 2026, compelling diamond drilling results from its 100% owned Kangaroo Hills Lithium Project, part of the broader Coolgardie Lithium Projects in Western Australia’s Goldfields region. Ore Resources Ltd is an exploration and development company focused on advancing its 100% owned Coolgardie and Kal East Gold and Lithium Projects. These projects are situated in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. The drilling programme, completed in July 2026, comprised seven diamond core holes for 640 metres, designed to collect bulk mineralised samples for ongoing ore sorting, metallurgical, and geotechnical studies to support project development.
The results from the programme further demonstrated the shallow, high-grade nature of the Big Red pegmatite system, with all five targeted holes returning significant lithium intervals. Notable intercepts include 27 metres at 1.33% Li2O from 4 metres, with a higher-grade section of 5 metres at 2.01% Li2O from 11 metres in hole KHDD018. Other significant intersections included 25 metres at 1.33% Li2O from 59 metres and 22 metres at 1.43% Li2O from 54 metres. These outcomes validate the continuity of grade and thickness of the pegmatite system.
Furthermore, Ore confirmed the low intrinsic iron content of the Big Red mineralisation. An assessment of potential iron oxide contamination during laboratory sample preparation indicated that the in-situ mineralisation has low iron content, reinforcing expected Direct Shipping of Ore (DSO) product quality and downstream processing amenability. The company is advancing a DSO study for a near-term, capital-lite operation at Kangaroo Hills, expected to be completed in the coming weeks. This study will be underpinned by the declaration of an initial Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for Kangaroo Hills.
