Uranium-focussed company targets North American capital markets, citing increased demand for energy security.

Cauldron Energy Limited (ASX: CXU) announced its fully paid ordinary shares have commenced trading on the US OTCQB market under the code OTCQB: CAULF, effective Wednesday, 12 August 2026 US time. Cauldron Energy Limited is an ASX-listed uranium-focussed company that owns the Yanrey Uranium Project in Western Australia, exploring and developing uranium resources for global energy needs. This strategic move aims to significantly broaden the company’s investor base in North America. The primary listing for Cauldron Energy will remain on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) under its existing code CXU, with this uplisting being non-dilutive as no new shares were issued.

The commencement of trading on the OTCQB, a premium tier of the OTC Markets Group for established and developing companies, provides Cauldron with enhanced visibility and direct access to a wider pool of US investors. This enables broker-dealer support and ‘Blue Sky’ compliance, allowing the company’s shares to be legally offered and recommended to both retail and institutional investors across 37 US states. The company noted increased international investor interest recently, including its inclusion in multiple international Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), with the US capital markets being a key focus due to the nation’s demand for high ESG uranium from strategically aligned nations like Australia to meet its energy security and abundance goals.

Jonathan Fisher, Cauldron CEO, commented on the expansion, stating that significant interest from North American investors unable to easily trade directly on the ASX prompted this move. He highlighted strong uranium and nuclear energy sentiment in the US and the anticipated uranium supply shortage by the early 2030s. Mr. Fisher emphasised the OTCQB listing provides Cauldron with an opportunity to inform a broader audience about the substantial scale of its Yanrey Uranium Project and its potential contribution to supplying future US civilian uranium needs, reinforcing Australia’s role as a key player in the global energy market.
