The Japanese equity market has rallied strongly in recent weeks, edging ever closer to its 1989 record high. A visit by Warren Buffett to Japan seems to have inspired buyer interest, especially from foreign investors, but there’s a lot more to the story, as Platinum’s James Halse explains to Henry Polkinghorne.
