Jacaranda Natural Resources Limited (ASX: JRL) has commenced trading on the Australian Securities Exchange today, following the successful completion of its $8 million Initial Public Offering (IPO). The copper-gold exploration company, which holds a portfolio spanning established mining jurisdictions in Australia and Botswana, listed at $0.20 per share. With approximately A$7.0 million in pro-forma cash at listing, Jacaranda is well-funded to execute its planned 24-month exploration program across its diverse assets. The IPO was led by Joint Lead Managers Gaia Capital and Boston Global, supported by cornerstone investments from Ever-Sun Development (Hongkong) Limited and existing shareholder Purebond Ltd.

The company is moving swiftly into its exploration activities, with drilling imminent at its Globe Gold Project in Botswana. A drill rig is expected on site within days for an initial program comprising approximately 540 metres across eight diamond holes, targeting high-priority gold opportunities. Botswana also hosts Jacaranda’s Motloutse and Nkwe projects, collectively covering over 2,500 square kilometres within the Limpopo Mobile Belt, which are prospective for copper-nickel sulphide mineralisation and have seen limited modern exploration since the 1970s-90s.

In Australia, Jacaranda’s White Cockatoo Copper-Gold Project in central Queensland spans a contiguous 409 square kilometre tenement package. This project is characterised by more than 20 shallow copper and/or gold targets, alongside over five potential porphyry copper-gold targets, including a significant magnetic body at Flanagan’s and Great Blackall that remains undrilled. Field activities are set to commence in the coming weeks, with maiden drilling at White Cockatoo planned for early 2027. Jacaranda’s leadership team, boasting a strong track record across ASX-listed resources companies and major Australian and African mining projects, will oversee these programs.
