IT services provider reports strong annual growth, bolstered by major government contract win, and outlines strategic investments for continued expansion.

Data#3 Limited (ASX: DTL), a leading Australian IT services and solutions provider that helps customers solve complex business challenges using innovative technology, reported record financial results for the 2026 financial year at its Annual General Meeting on 28 October 2026. The company, which provides integrated solutions across cloud, modern workplace, and security, also offered an upgraded first-half forecast for the current financial year, outlining robust growth and strategic priorities.

For FY26, Data#3 delivered gross sales of $3.4 billion, a 12.7% increase year-on-year. This strong performance translated into profit before tax rising 14.0% to $78.8 million and net profit after tax increasing 13.1% to $54.5 million. Basic earnings per share reached 35.16 cents, with total fully franked dividends per share up 13.0% to 31.75 cents, maintaining a high payout ratio. The balance sheet remained strong and debt-free, holding $326.0 million in cash. A key highlight was securing the largest contract in Data#3’s history, becoming the sole panel provider of Microsoft products and services to the Australian Government for five years.

Looking ahead to FY27, Data#3 detailed strategic initiatives including accelerating its Services business, investing in a dedicated AI Practice, and establishing a 24×7 Sovereign Security Operations Centre. The company upgraded its first-half FY27 projection, forecasting pre-tax profit of $52 million to $57 million. This represents substantial growth of 55% to 70% compared to the prior corresponding period, driven by approximately 20% gross profit growth and an estimated $8.8 million in interest income. While first-half profit is expected to be boosted by large one-off transactions, Data#3 anticipates delivering normalised growth in the second half and across the full year, underpinned by its strategy for sustained earnings.
