Kip McGrath takeover offer extended to 19 October
Kip McGrath Education Centres (ASX:KME) shareholders have been given additional time to consider the off-market takeover offer from Crimson Consulting Australia, a subsidiary of New Zealand-based Crimson Consulting Limited. The offer period has been extended from 14 October to 19 October 2026, closing at 7pm Melbourne time, unless further extended or withdrawn. Under the existing terms, shareholders are being offered 73 cents in cash for each Kip McGrath share. The extension provides shareholders who have not yet accepted the offer with additional time to respond.
BOA Resources reports further high-grade copper at Ricci Lee
BOA Resources (ASX:BOA) has reported further high-grade copper results from its maiden drilling program at the Ricci Lee prospect within the Neds Creek Copper Project in Western Australia. High-grade copper has now been intersected in 20 of the first 23 drill holes reported, with results including 10 metres at 3.60 per cent copper from 31 metres and 22 metres at 1.74 per cent copper from 104 metres. The results indicate mineralisation extending over more than 400 metres and support the identification of a second mineralised zone. Assays remain pending for another 23 drill holes, alongside results from five additional prospects.
Cyclopharm gains Chinese medical endorsement for Technegas
Cyclopharm (ASX:CYC) has received a further international endorsement for its Technegas lung imaging technology, with seven leading Chinese medical bodies jointly recommending it as the preferred ventilation agent for diagnosing pulmonary embolism, a condition involving blood clots in the lungs. The unanimous recommendation follows guidelines issued in July by medical societies in the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand that also identified Technegas as generally preferred when available. Cyclopharm said the endorsement strengthens its position in China, where Technegas is already available across most provinces and the nuclear medicine sector continues to expand.
Barton Gold reports high-grade results from Tunkillia drilling
Barton Gold (ASX:BGD) has received the final assay results from its Phase 2 drilling program at the Tunkillia Gold Project in South Australia, confirming further broad, high-grade gold intersections within its planned starter pits. Results included 53 metres at 2.51 grams per tonne gold from 60 metres and 21 metres at 4.13 grams per tonne from 61 metres. The program forms part of nearly 58,000 metres of additional drilling completed across two phases to support resource upgrades and project planning. An updated gold resource estimate is pending, with a silver resource update and pre-feasibility study targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
Cosmo Metals identifies new gold drilling targets at Bingara
Cosmo Metals (ASX:CMO) has identified new gold exploration targets at its Bingara Project in New South Wales following geological mapping and surface sampling along the 12-kilometre Star of Bingara to Lone Hand trend. Sampling returned gold grades of up to 13.6 grams per tonne from the Golden Shamrock and Yellow Robin workings, near the historic Star of Bingara mine. The company identified several parallel gold-bearing structures in an area that has not previously been drilled. Work is now underway to select drill targets and progress the approvals required for future exploration.
