Neurizon Therapeutics (ASX:NUZ) has received written feedback from the US Food and Drug Administration outlining a potential approval pathway for its experimental motor neurone disease treatment, NUZ-001. The FDA indicated that positive results from the ongoing Phase 2/3 HEALEY ALS Platform Trial could support a traditional approval application, potentially using the trial as a single main study, provided the required evidence of effectiveness is met. The trial is fully enrolled, with initial results expected in late second-quarter 2027.
iTech Minerals extends gold-antimony discovery at Reynolds Range
iTech Minerals (ASX:ITM) has extended gold and antimony mineralisation at its Sabre Prospect within the Reynolds Range Project in the Northern Territory. Drilling extended the main mineralised zone from approximately 100 metres to 270 metres below surface, with results including 25 metres at 4.88 grams per tonne gold and 0.85 per cent antimony from 242 metres. A second gold-bearing zone was also identified approximately 120 metres to the south. LGI to acquire $22 million in Queensland solar assets
LGI (ASX:LGI) has entered into a binding agreement to acquire two operating solar farms in Queensland for $22 million, adding 42 megawatts of grid export capacity to its renewable energy portfolio. The Chinchilla and Brigalow facilities are expected to contribute between $2.1 million and $4 million in annual earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, depending on operational improvements and electricity prices. The acquisition increases LGI’s targeted medium-term portfolio capacity to more than 120 megawatts, with completion expected on 9 October.
Stakk secures new IBM contract for AI document processing
Stakk (ASX:SKK) has secured a new agreement with IBM to provide AI-powered document processing and validation services across Australia and New Zealand. The contract builds on an existing relationship through Stakk’s ParaScript business in the United States and will support automated document handling and information verification. The agreement begins in October 2026, with immediate revenue contributions and an initial term running until September 2027. Revenue will depend on processing volumes, with the company expecting the contract to make a meaningful contribution to its FY2027 revenue target.
Venari Minerals adds strontium and magnesium to Red Mountain resource
Venari Minerals (ASX:VMS) has updated the mineral resource estimate for its Red Mountain Project in Nevada to include strontium and magnesium alongside its existing lithium resource. The 500-million-tonne inferred resource now contains an estimated 3.03 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent, 2.67 million tonnes of strontium carbonate equivalent and 12 million tonnes of magnesium. The company said the additional minerals could provide potential future revenue opportunities, subject to further technical studies. Drilling and metallurgical testing are continuing ahead of a scoping study targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
