Tarrina Resources Limited (ASX: TR8) has announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Dr Gregor Partington, will step down from his role, effective 11 November 2026. Tarrina Resources is an Australian mineral exploration company with a portfolio of projects in New South Wales and South Australia prospective for gold, copper, silver and rare earth elements. Its strategy is to generate shareholder value through systematic exploration, drilling and the potential definition of maiden Mineral Resource estimates, while also assessing complementary and value-accretive acquisition opportunities.
Dr Partington has been at the helm of Tarrina Resources since its re-admission to trading in November 2025. During his leadership, he oversaw significant exploration activities across the company’s Walparuta and Yongala projects in South Australia, as well as the Christmas Gift project in New South Wales. Prior to his departure, Dr Partington will collaborate with the Board to ensure an orderly handover, which includes finalising pending exploration results announcements, a task for which he serves as the Competent Person.
Following Dr Partington’s departure, the Board will assume oversight of the company’s operations. Key areas of focus will include awaiting the necessary approvals to commence drilling at Walparuta, continuing the assessment and interpretation of exploration results from Christmas Gift, and actively seeking additional project acquisition opportunities. Dr Partington’s engagement will conclude in line with his Executive Service Agreement, and he has committed to being available to the company as a technical advisor on an as-needed basis.
Chairman Francis De Souza extended his gratitude, stating, “On behalf of the Board, I thank Greg for his contribution to Tarrina. His geological expertise has been central to building our understanding of the Company’s projects, and we wish him well in his future endeavours.”
