New study projects A$9.9 million cash flow from near-term Western Australian gold opportunity leveraging existing Edna May infrastructure.

Forrestania Resources Limited (ASX: FRS), an Australian gold exploration and development company focused on building a significant Western Australian gold business, today announced positive results from its Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the Tycho Gold Deposit and its maiden Ore Reserve estimate. The study demonstrates a near-term, execution-ready gold production opportunity, leveraging the company’s existing Edna May processing infrastructure. The Tycho project is projected to generate an estimated pre-tax undiscounted free cash flow of A$9.9 million over an eight-month project life, based on a gold price of A$5,500 per ounce, with total project capital estimated at approximately A$11.5 million.

The maiden Ore Reserve for the Tycho Deposit stands at 418 kilotonnes (kt) at 1.10 grams per tonne (g/t) gold for 14,700 ounces (oz) of gold, classified as 100% Probable Ore Reserve. This reserve entirely underpins the production target for the PFS. Mining operations are scheduled over approximately seven months, with processing occurring over a four-month period, achieving an average All-In Sustaining Cost (AISC) of A$3,849 per ounce. Ore from Tycho is planned to be hauled approximately 278 kilometres by road to Forrestania’s Edna May processing facility, utilising its conventional carbon-in-leach/carbon-in-pulp (CIL/CIP) methods and an average metallurgical recovery of approximately 88%.

Forrestania Resources’ Chairman David Geraghty highlighted that Tycho exemplifies the strength of the company’s hub-and-spoke development model, transforming a quality gold resource into a production opportunity through existing infrastructure. The project is substantially execution-ready, with key contracts already in place for mining, road haulage, and the Edna May tailings storage facility lift. The PFS, completed as of September 2026, also notes potential upside from upgrading Inferred Mineral Resources within the current pit shell, which are presently excluded from the production target, supporting Forrestania’s vision for a scalable and sustainable regional gold business.
