Fulcrum Lithium Ltd today announced Scott Keenan’s appointment as its new Managing Director, effective 16 September 2026. Fulcrum Lithium Ltd is an exploration company focused on developing lithium resources, with key projects including Alkali Flats and Dry Canyon in Nevada, USA. Mr. Keenan’s appointment follows his tenure as Chief Operating Officer since the company’s Initial Public Offering in November 2024.
As COO, Mr. Keenan was instrumental in guiding Fulcrum through rapid exploration, appraisal programs, resource definition, and corporate strategy. A Fellow of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, he graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) with Honours in Geology and Geophysics. His career spans over two decades exploring, discovering, and developing resources across Australia, Papua New Guinea, the Middle East, and the USA, with experience at companies like Oil Search Ltd and Santos.
Fulcrum’s Chairman, Norman Seckold, expressed the Board’s satisfaction, stating: “We are delighted to appoint Scott as Managing Director of Fulcrum. The appointment is an important step following the recent announcement of the Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at the Company’s Alkali Flats project in Nevada, USA.” Mr. Seckold highlighted Mr. Keenan’s leadership in the Alkali Flats discovery, adding he is “a perfect fit to drive the next phase for the Alkali Flats and Dry Canyon projects.”
His remuneration package includes an annual salary of $360,000 plus statutory superannuation, and a three-month termination period. He has been appointed with 4,000,000 performance rights (2,000,000 vesting 31 December 2026 and 2,000,000 vesting 31 December 2027), subject to shareholder approval at the next Annual General Meeting.
