Aureka moves towards gold production with mine and mill acquisition

Managing Director James Gurry outlines Aureka’s proposed transition from explorer to producer and its plans for growth across its Victorian gold portfolio.
Aureka Limited (ASX: AKA) is moving towards gold production through the proposed acquisition of High-Grade Holdings, adding the operating Fiddlers Creek Mine and Wedderburn Gold Mill to its Victorian portfolio.
Fiddlers Creek commenced production in July 2025, while the Wedderburn Mill provides Aureka with a potential processing pathway for its Comstock and Irvine projects. The company currently holds a 398,300-ounce Inferred Resource at Irvine and 56,500 ounces at Comstock.
Looking ahead, Aureka plans further drilling at Irvine, Comstock and around Fiddlers Creek, alongside advancing studies and approvals at Comstock.
