Kimbal Musk, brother of Elon Musk and a long-time director at Tesla, had connections to at least two women through Jeffrey Epstein, years after Epstein’s guilty plea for sex crimes. Emails released by the U.S. Justice Department detail these interactions. Tesla designs, manufactures, and sells electric vehicles, battery energy storage systems, and solar products. It aims to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
In one email from October 2012, Musk thanked Epstein and his associate, Boris Nikolic, for connecting him with a woman named Jennifer. The exchange was among numerous messages spanning 2012 to 2015 involving Musk, revealed in the latest release of Epstein files by the Justice Department on January 30. The emails suggest a comfortable relationship between the men, discussing parties, relationships, and the possibility of Musk visiting Epstein’s island.
Despite Epstein’s 2008 guilty plea to two Florida state charges and subsequent jail time, he maintained and expanded his network of wealthy and influential contacts. The recent release of millions of pages of Epstein’s personal correspondence, along with reporting by Bloomberg, has drawn attention to prominent figures in business, politics, investment, academia, and law.
Several emails involving Musk mention Jennifer, with whom he became close in late 2012. Bloomberg News is withholding the woman’s last name for privacy reasons. Epstein died in jail in 2019; authorities ruled it a suicide.
