Phase 4 drilling confirms mineralisation continuity at Trafalgar prospect in Tasmania

Flynn Gold (ASX: FG1) has reported positive high-grade assay results from its Phase 4 drilling program at the Trafalgar prospect, part of the Golden Ridge project in northeast Tasmania. The company’s recent diamond drilling has confirmed the continuity of gold mineralisation across multiple structures, particularly within the Trafalgar Main Zone. Flynn Gold is an Australian-based mineral exploration company focused on gold projects in Tasmania and Western Australia. The company aims to discover and develop high-quality gold deposits.

Significant gold hits were recorded at the Trafalgar Main, Magazine, and South zones. Highlight intersections include 0.3 metres at 16.1 grams per tonne from 47.7 metres, 0.7 metres at 15.7g/t from 162.5 metres, and 0.3 metres at 12.9g/t from 297.9 metres. According to Chief Executive Officer Neil Marston, the company plans to conduct systematic drilling and modelling to further understand the high-grade gold resource at Golden Ridge.

The new data will enable Flynn Gold to refine its structural interpretation to guide the next phase of exploration drilling. Upcoming activities at Trafalgar will include refining geological and structural models, incorporating new data to improve understanding of the complex hornfels zone. Flynn will then designate follow-up drill holes to test open zones of mineralisation and assess data to inform planning for a maiden mineral resource estimate.

Flynn has also commenced maiden diamond drilling at its Grenadier prospect, located approximately 9km away. The first hole is investigating the down-dip extension of a trench, where six samples from an initial bulk sample test returned an average grade of 10.5g/t. Mr Marston noted that Grenadier represents a largely untested gold system defined by a broad gold-in-soil anomaly.
