Victory Metals (ASX: VTM) has announced the production of its first mixed rare earth oxides (MREO) from the North Stanmore project in Western Australia. The MREO contains 94% total rare earth oxides (TREO). Victory Metals is focused on exploring and developing rare earth deposits. Its flagship project, North Stanmore, is located in a region known for its rich mineral resources.
The company used a composite of 453 samples from across the project area to achieve this result. TREO values in the samples ranged from 300 parts per million to 3,587 parts per million, averaging 525 parts per million. Victory Metals believes this MREO represents the highest grade of heavy rare earth-enriched material produced by an Australian clay-hosted rare earth project to date.
Victory Metals said the achievement demonstrates the technical viability of its proprietary processing flowsheet. The flowsheet is designed to produce a market-ready, high-value MREO product without needing extra concentration and cracking processes. The company confirmed it has reached the most advanced downstream product stage prior to individual oxide separation and metallisation.
Chief executive officer Brendan Clark anticipates increased global interest from parties seeking non-Chinese supply sources. He stated that this result enhances Victory’s strategic position in a tightening global market. The company remains focused on partnering with groups that share its strategic vision to reshape rare earth ethical supply chains.
