Star Copper Advances British Columbia Project

Drilling program aims to test continuity of mineralised zones at depth

Star Copper (CSE:STCU) is progressing its flagship project in British Columbia’s ‘Golden Triangle’. According to CEO Darryl Jones, recent drilling indicates a ‘robust’ porphyry system at depth. The company believes this work continues to build increasing certainty for a significant deposit at Star. Star Copper is a mineral explorer and developer focused on its copper projects in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The company aims to advance the Star Project in British Columbia where work includes historical drilling that has confirmed open mineralisation at depth and in all directions.

Jones noted that he looks forward to advancing towards a regulatory compliant valuation of the entire project as assay results are provided in the coming weeks. Recent extensions to multi-year area-based exploration permits allow for continued drilling, road construction, trenching, and surface work across the property. These permits allow for up to 200 holes.

The third drilling hole (Hole C), the deepest to date on the Star Project, has confirmed consistent chalcopyrite mineralisation within the quartz monzodiorite phase above the Star fault. It also extends the northern supergene copper footprint and strengthens the link between potassic alteration, fault architecture, and elevated chalcopyrite tenor at Star Main. Star Copper has three more holes to drill while surface fieldwork continues.

The 2025 drilling program is designed to test the lateral and vertical continuity of mineralised zones identified from over C$10 million worth of drilling and exploration work.
