Accent Resources NL (ASX: ACS), an Australian resources company focused on iron ore and gold projects, has released its quarterly activities report for the period ending 30 June 2025. The report highlights significant progress at the Magnetite Range Project and ongoing activities at the Norseman Gold Project. Accent Resources has two projects in Western Australia, the Magnetite Range Project (Iron Ore) located in the Midwest region of WA and the Norseman Gold project located in the Eastern Goldfields.
A key highlight of the quarter was the commencement of a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the Magnetite Range Project. As previously announced on 21 May 2025, the study will build upon prior exploration and metallurgical work, incorporating mine planning, hydrogeology, process design, infrastructure requirements, logistics, and environmental and heritage approvals. Additionally, Davis Tube Recovery metallurgical testwork has been completed on diamond core samples from the Julia and Robb deposits within the Magnetite Range project. Results from this testwork are expected to be reported in the next reporting period.
Exploration tenement E59/2963 was granted during the quarter, and two miscellaneous licenses, L59/221 and L59/222, were also granted. Application L59/223 has been withdrawn. Planned activities for the next quarter include continued exploration targeting and ongoing work related to the PFS, with a focus on environmental and heritage field surveys, hydrology studies, and progressing mining studies for the Julia and Robb resource areas. Engineering works will commence with a focus on developing the process flowsheet using available metallurgical testing results.
Regarding the Norseman Gold Project, a mining lease application remains pending grant. As of 30 June 2025, the company held $13.038 million in cash at bank, with exploration expenditure cash outflow for the quarter totaling $675,000. Payments to related parties and their associates amounted to $169,000. The company continues to identify investment opportunities aligned with its corporate strategy.
