Renforth Resources has announced the extension of a gold-bearing channel at its Parbec gold deposit in Québec, Canada. The extension, located on top of the latest resource estimate outline, measures 12 metres with a grade of 1.43 grams per tonne of gold. This development follows a prospecting program designed to enhance the surface potential at Parbec, in preparation for a more extensive data acquisition and evaluation aimed at expanding the resource estimate to the bedrock surface.
The prospecting, conducted in May and June 2025, focused on the south side of the Cadillac-Larder Lake Fault where it intersects with the Pontiac sediments, specifically targeting the area of the diorite splay. The diorite splay is thought to represent a split in the Pontiac contact, possibly a fold remnant. This intrusive complex, along with other porphyritic intrusions, is common in the Malartic camps and hosts historical mineralised zones.
The Parbec deposit is situated on the Cadillac-Larder Lake Fault, adjacent to the Canadian Malartic Mine, Canada’s largest open-pit gold mine. Renforth Resources is a mineral exploration and development company focused on gold and critical minerals in Canada.
