Black Canyon (ASX:BCA) is making strides with its Wandanya Project in Western Australia. Managing Director Brendan Cummins recently provided an update on the project, highlighting the company’s strategy around scale, significance, and future plans for its manganese and iron discoveries. Black Canyon is an ASX-listed explorer focused on unlocking critical mineral potential in Western Australia. The company is advancing high-grade manganese and iron projects, with Wandanya at the centre of its growth strategy.

Recent high-grade discoveries at Wandanya include notable intersections of 12 metres at 60% iron and 8 metres at 31% manganese. The mineralisation spans a significant area, up to 3 kilometres for manganese and 5 kilometres for iron. This scale underscores the potential significance of the Wandanya Project for Black Canyon.

The company has plans for upcoming drilling and exploration programs. These programs are specifically designed to target resource definition by the end of the year. The focus remains on further assessing and developing the high-grade manganese and iron deposits within the Wandanya Project area. Black Canyon aims to capitalise on the growing demand for critical minerals.
