Gregory Bowman joins advisory board to bolster US expansion strategy.

MTM Critical Metals (ASX: MTM), soon to be renamed Metallium, has appointed Gregory Bowman, a US defence industry specialist, to its advisory board. MTM’s patented Flash Joule Heating (FJH) technology enables the extraction of high-value materials such as gallium, germanium, antimony, rare earth elements, and gold from feedstocks such as refinery scrap and e-waste. The company is focused on expanding its global position in the processing of critical and precious metals.

Mr. Bowman currently serves as chief strategy officer and senior vice president of national security solutions at Siemens Government Technologies. His expertise will be invaluable as MTM targets the US defence market, seeking to leverage its FJH technology to recover rare earths from secondary sources within the United States. Bowman will join the advisory board of MTM’s wholly-owned US subsidiary, Flash Metals USA.

Prior to Siemens, Bowman served over 25 years in the US Army, retiring as a Colonel. MTM chief executive officer Michael Walshe stated that Bowman’s appointment will strengthen Flash Metals USA’s progress toward becoming a leading US domestic processor of critical and strategic metals. This appointment also reinforces MTM’s alignment with US national interests, Mr. Walshe added.

Bowman highlighted the critical need for resilient and secure domestic supply chains for rare earths and other strategic materials within the US. He believes Flash Metals USA’s technology offers an innovative and scalable solution that aligns with these national priorities, furthering the company’s goals in the US market.
