ASX-listed explorer seeks $1 million from shareholders at a discount, offering attaching options for Cambodian and Thai projects.

Unity Metals Limited (ASX: UM1), a metals exploration company focused on the discovery and development of gold and copper-gold projects primarily in Cambodia and Thailand, has announced a Share Purchase Plan (SPP) targeting to raise $1,000,000 before costs. The SPP offers eligible shareholders the opportunity to subscribe for up to $30,000 worth of new shares at an issue price of $0.15 per new share. This price represents a 15.2% discount to the volume-weighted average price of the company’s shares over the five trading days preceding the SPP’s announcement on 25 September 2026.

Participants in the SPP will also be entitled to apply for one attaching option for every two new shares subscribed for. These new options will be exercisable at $0.225 and are set to expire on or before 31 October 2028, although the company does not intend to apply for their quotation on the ASX. Proceeds from the SPP, combined with a recently announced placement, are earmarked to fund significant exploration activities, including extensional and infill drilling at the O’Phlay Gold Project and the Ngot Gold Project in Cambodia, as well as rock chip and soil geochemistry surveys at the Loei Copper-Gold Project in Thailand. Funds will also support further project development and general working capital needs.

The SPP opened on Monday, 5 October 2026, and is scheduled to close at 5:00 pm (AWST) on Monday, 19 October 2026. Participation is optional and non-renounceable, with a minimum application amount of $1,000. Shareholders registered on the company’s books at 5:00 pm (AWST) on Thursday, 24 September 2026, with an address in an eligible country, qualify to participate. The Board retains absolute discretion to accept oversubscriptions and may implement a scale-back of applications if the total amount subscribed exceeds the target. The offer is not underwritten, and new options will be issued pending shareholder approval at a general meeting slated for 17 November 2026.
