AUCYBER LIMITED (ASX: CYB) has announced continued expansion of its Security Operations Centre (SOC) business, with new contract wins and a growing tender pipeline across the Australian higher education sector. The company, an Australian provider of managed cybersecurity, IT, and cloud services, delivers enterprise-grade capability to mid-market businesses, government, and education organisations. The announcement, released on 28th September 2026, highlights the firm’s increasing momentum in a key growth market.
The University of New England has awarded AUCyber a new managed security services contract for an initial 12-month term, with an annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeding $600,000. This engagement will utilise AUCyber’s SentinelOne Singularity platform, with monitoring provided by the company’s Australian-based SOC. Furthermore, AUCyber secured another managed SOC contract with an additional Australian university in September 2026, valued at $2.16 million over three years. These new higher education wins combine to generate approximately $1.34 million in new annual recurring revenue for the company.
Looking ahead, AUCyber is currently bidding for a managed SOC and security analytics engagement with a major Australian university, potentially worth approximately $5.5 million over the contract term, though success is not assured. The company also continues to participate in competitive tender processes for managed SOC and SentinelOne services across the education and enterprise sectors. Shane Miller, AUCyber’s Chief Technology Officer, commented that these customer wins demonstrate the value of investments made in building a scalable SOC, enabling the delivery of enterprise-grade cybersecurity services efficiently. He also noted the company’s early investment in capabilities to help customers secure AI technologies through its partnership with SentinelOne.
