NRW Holdings has been awarded three new civil contracts with a combined value of $270 million. These projects will significantly bolster the company’s project pipeline in Western Australia and the Pilbara region. NRW Holdings is a leading provider of diversified services to the resources and infrastructure sectors. Their expertise spans engineering, construction, and operational support.

The largest of the contracts involves bulk earthworks for Rio Tinto’s West Angelas Sustaining Project (WASP) Deposit H. Valued at $175 million, this project will provide access to five new mining satellite pits. The scope includes haul road construction, a concrete overpass arch, and associated infrastructure, with work expected to continue through 2027.

In addition, NRW Contracting has been selected by Main Roads WA for the reconstruction and realignment of Toodyay Road, between Dryandra and Toodyay. The initial award for Separable Portions 1 and 2 is valued at $46 million. Construction and procurement are slated to commence early in 2026.

Finally, in a 50:50 joint venture with Brady Marine and Civil, NRW has secured Stage 2 of the Dampier Cargo Project. This $49 million contract involves building the Dampier Link Bridge, which will connect the refurbished Dampier Cargo Wharf with the new Bulk Handling Facility, with the project expected to take around 12 months to complete.
