Military Metals Begins Manson Bay Fieldwork

Exploration program targets broader zone of gold mineralisation in Saskatchewan project.

Military Metals (CSE:MILI) has commenced fieldwork at its Manson Bay gold-bearing polymetallic project in Saskatchewan, Canada. Field crews arrived on-site on July 12 to begin the exploration program, which is budgeted for C$500,000. The focus will be on an area indicating a broader zone of mineralisation first identified in 2024. Military Metals is focused on exploring and discovering metals that contribute to defence technology.

The fieldwork will include prospecting and rock sampling, geological mapping, and B-horizon soil sampling conducted by a four-person field crew. Geophysical surveys in 2024 of five drillholes revealed an expansive conductive layer, reinforcing the potential for a more extensive mineralised zone. Manson Bay, consisting of 13 mining claims totalling 4,293.2 hectares, is located in east-central Saskatchewan, approximately 40km northwest of Flin Flon, Manitoba.

First discovered in 1953, Manson Bay has been the subject of intermittent exploration, including geophysical surveys and drilling that revealed anomalous gold and silver values. This work targeted a large conductor along the eastern shore of Manson Bay. In 2021, gold-silver-lead-zinc mineralisation was observed in stratabound, tabular, massive sulphide horizons, characterised by intense chlorite-sericite alteration and net-textured to semi-massive sulphides.

These horizons are interpreted as potentially representing a deformed and sheared volcanogenic massive sulphide system. Manson Bay was Military Metals’ initial material mineral property acquisition before the company shifted its focus to antimony.
