New service to help clients navigate global business landscape complexities and challenges

JPMorganChase (NYSE:JPM) has launched a new client advisory service, the JPMorganChase Center for Geopolitics (CfG), to help clients navigate the increasingly complex global business landscape. JPMorganChase is a US-based financial services firm with worldwide operations, boasting US$4.4 trillion in assets and US$351 billion in stockholders’ equity as of 31 March 2025. The firm aims to leverage its extensive network, expertise, and resources to provide clients with strategic vision and data-driven analysis.

The CfG is led by Derek Chollet, a foreign policy expert, and incorporates insights from geopolitical and business advisors both within and outside the firm. According to the Financial Times, CEO Jamie Dimon recently warned European leaders about competitiveness issues compared to China and the US, and cautioned that markets are underestimating the risk of US tariffs.

The advisory service taps into expertise from the bank’s International Council, as well as external advisors such as former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. Dimon stated that business leaders face rising global competition, interconnectedness, disruptive technology, economic uncertainty, and geopolitical crises. The CfG aims to assist clients in addressing these challenges and opportunities, focusing on areas such as artificial intelligence, global trade rewiring, US-China relations, and European and Middle Eastern dynamics.

Chollet added that the firm’s position as a leading global financial institution uniquely enables it to help clients make informed business decisions, enhance their competitive advantages and add value for shareholders. He highlighted the team’s direct experience with clients, noting how global economic uncertainty is driving business leaders to reassess their strategies.
