Drilling targets copper discoveries; resource estimate preparation underway.

Terra Metals (ASX:TM1) has commenced phase three exploration at its Dante Project in Western Australia, focusing on copper and critical metal discoveries. Following heritage and drilling approvals, the company will conduct infill and extensional drilling at Reef 1 and Reef 2, aiming to upgrade resources ahead of its maiden resource estimate. Consultants will visit the site in June to prepare for this estimate.

Recent approvals also enable Terra Metals to explore newly identified copper-critical metal targets, including outcropping reef layers and electromagnetic anomalies. CEO Thomas Line highlights the potential for new discoveries given the company’s strike rate over the past 18 months. The company has also acquired HRM Exploration’s tenements, believing they contain extensions of mineralisation identified at Reef 1 and Reef 2.

The Dante Project is located in the West Musgrave region, known for magmatic copper, gold, platinum group metal, titanium, and vanadium discoveries, positioning Terra Metals near BHP’s Nebo-Babel deposit.
