Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) has released positive metallurgical testing results from its Remorse iron discovery, a key asset within the Yalgoo Project in Western Australia. Davis Tube Recovery testing revealed iron concentrate grades of up to 68.8% at a 25μm fineness. Further composite samples are anticipated next month, with the data to be incorporated into a comprehensive deposit assessment, guiding future project development strategies. Reverse circulation drilling for composite 1 showed an average assay grade of 32.29% iron, also with results expected at 25μm.
The Remorse deposit, a magnetite iron formation, is situated on the eastern flank of the Yalgoo Project, which encompasses over 1,000km2. Previous reporting indicates an indicated resource estimate of 63.5 million tonnes at 30.6% iron. These latest metallurgical findings provide further insights into the resource’s potential, as Tempest Minerals continues its exploration and development efforts. With a market capitalization of $3.67 million, Tempest Minerals is an Australian mineral exploration company actively pursuing various projects across Western Australia.
