XPON Technologies Group (ASX:XPN) has announced a binding agreement to acquire Alpha Digital Design Consultants, a privately held Australian digital marketing business. Settlement is expected in May 2025. This acquisition aligns with XPON’s strategy to integrate complementary marketing technology and services through an AI-powered approach. Alpha Digital will retain its brand and operate independently, with founder Matt Cooper remaining as CEO. XPON will centralize back-office and corporate functions, leveraging its existing infrastructure.
According to XPON’s Managing Director, Matt Forman, Alpha Digital is the “perfect first acquisition to power our growth strategy”. The combined entity will offer an integrated suite of AI marketing solutions designed to help businesses acquire, retain, and monetize customers. Alpha Digital, established in 2011, brings a team of 25 digital marketing specialists and relationships with over 40 enterprise and mid-market brands, including Target and K-Mart. CEO Matt Cooper highlights the synergistic potential, noting that XPON’s AI and data capabilities will enhance Alpha Digital’s data-driven marketing approach. XPON Technologies Group operates in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, focusing on simplifying marketing challenges and improving ROI.
