Eden Innovations secures first Holcim Mexico order, expanding product's global footprint.

Eden Innovations (ASX: EDE) has announced that Holcim Mexico has placed its first order for EdenCretePz7, valued at US$8,080 (AUD$12,509). This initial order will be supplied in smaller drums for distribution to multiple concrete plants in Mexico. This move marks Mexico as the third country, following Ecuador and the USA, where Holcim Group companies are implementing EdenCretePz7. Mexico, with a population of 131 million and annual cement production of 50 million tonnes, is a significant strategic market for Eden Innovations.

This order follows an extensive testing program conducted by Holcim Mexico. Over the past 11 months, total orders from Holcim Group companies for EdenCretePz7 have reached approximately US$435,000 (AUD$673,000). Holcim Group companies in Eastern Canada, Western Canada, and the United Kingdom are also conducting ongoing trials of EdenCretePz7.

Holcim US is currently installing bulk storage tanks and automated dispensing equipment in several of its plants in the Denver, Colorado area. Holcim US recently placed an order for US$91,800 (AUD$145,668) worth of EdenCretePz7 for a large construction project, requiring approximately 19,114 cubic meters of concrete. The expansion of EdenCretePz7’s footprint aligns with Holcim’s focus on decarbonizing its concrete products. EdenCretePz7 can reduce the amount of cement needed by replacing it with lower-carbon pozzolanic materials. Eden Innovations considers Holcim’s embrace of its product a major milestone in its goal to establish a global market presence for its EdenCrete range.
