Cinto Project shows 'compelling' copper porphyry target; drilling planned for 2H 2025.

Solis Minerals (ASX:SLM) has announced promising developments at its Cinto Project in Peru, identifying significant copper porphyry mineralization through recent channel sampling. The company reports mineralization across a 3km by 0.75km area, with grades reaching up to 1% copper. CEO Mitch Thomas highlighted similarities in mineralization styles to the nearby Toquepala mine, further emphasizing the project’s potential. Drone magnetometry data supports the scale potential and has identified new target areas.

To refine drill targets, Solis Minerals plans to conduct an induced polarization (IP) survey, with results expected this quarter. A drilling program is scheduled for the second half of 2025. Concurrently, drilling will commence at the Chancho al Palo and Ilo Este targets. Solis will also investigate unexplored low magnetic anomalies at Cinto through mapping and rock geochemistry. Solis Minerals holds 76 exploration concessions, totaling 65,100 hectares in southwestern Peru, targeting iron-oxide copper-gold and porphyry copper mineralization.
