Olympio Metals (ASX:OLY) is advancing its exploration efforts in Quebec, Canada, with a maiden drilling program slated to begin in July 2025 at the Bousquet Project on the Cadillac Break. The program will focus on high-priority targets, including the Paquin strike extension and the Decoeur strike extension induced polarisation (IP) anomaly. Drillholes have been planned and submitted for statutory approval. The company is also reviewing historical drilling data and regional targets to prepare for the summer field season.

According to Olympio, an unexplored high-priority IP anomaly at Decoeur has been modeled to extend over 400m in strike and 200m in depth, marking it as a key area of interest. Concurrently, Olympio has completed 1,875m of diamond drilling at the Dufay Copper-Gold Project, with core logging underway in Val d’Or and assay results anticipated this quarter. Managing Director Sean Delaney stated that the drilling program was completed on time and within budget, highlighting the company’s commitment to efficient exploration.

The Bousquet Project is strategically located 65km west of the Dufay Project along the Cadillac Break. It includes several gold prospects and numerous structural and geophysical targets that have yet to be fully explored. The Dufay Project contains historical showings of chalcopyrite-rich quartz veining, including the Chevrier working, which saw brief mining activity in the late 1920s.
