Mayfield Childcare Appoints Daniel Stone as CEO

Mayfield Childcare Limited (ASX:MFD) has appointed Daniel Stone as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 8, 2025. Stone will replace outgoing CEO Ashok Naveinthiran, who retires on March 10, 2025. He brings extensive experience in the childcare sector, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO at TheirCare Pty Ltd, where he oversaw significant growth and operational improvements. As CEO of Mayfield, Stone aims to elevate the quality of care while ensuring operational efficiency and growth. Mayfield operates 45 long day care centers in Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia, providing care to over 3,600 families.

Mayfield Chair Roseanne Healy expressed confidence in Stone’s leadership, citing his experience in driving growth and enhancing operational efficiency. She also acknowledged Naveinthiran’s contributions during his tenure.

Stone’s appointment aligns with Mayfield’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional experiences for children, families, and employees. He will work with the management team to foster an innovative and inspiring environment that supports the company’s future direction.
