Ausmon Resources Gears Up Exploration on Three Tenements

Ausmon Resources (ASX:AOA) has completed field reconnaissance in preparation for its upcoming rare earth drilling program at its tenements in South Australia’s Limestone Coast region.

The company has conducted vehicular traverses across its Peake, Wilkawatt, and undrilled sections of Parrakie tenements to identify suitable roadside drilling sites for a shallow (<20m) aircore drilling campaign. These tenements, spanning 2,317km² within the Murray Basin, contain Loxton/Parilla sands, which are considered prospective for rare earth elements (REE).

Australian Rare Earths (ASX:AR3), operating to the south, has previously reported significant success in the region, with a JORC 2012 resource estimate of 236 million tonnes at 748ppm total rare earth oxides (TREO). Ausmon’s previous drilling at Parrakie in 2024 returned encouraging TREO results along with zirconium presence.

The company is currently preparing documentation for drilling approval under the Program for Environment Protection and Rehabilitation (PEPR) with South Australia’s Department of Energy and Mining (DEM). A local drilling crew has been secured, with work set to commence upon receiving regulatory consent.
