Morning Report: Wall Street ends mixed in attempted market rebound

The Dow Jones index fell by 51 points or 0.2%. The S&P 500 index lost 0.1%. But the Nasdaq index added 32.5 points or 0.2%.

US sharemarkets were mixed on Tuesday as traders assessed risks from China’s real estate sector crackdown and looked ahead to the US Federal Reserve’s meeting. The Dow Jones index fell by 51 points or 0.2%. The S&P 500 index lost 0.1%. But the Nasdaq index added 32.5 points or 0.2%.
