Morning Report: Wall St lifts as oil prices surge

US sharemarkets climbed on Wednesday as investor concerns about rising inflation and monetary policy tightening both eased. A surge in crude oil prices boosted energy shares. The Dow Jones index rose by 237 points or  0.7%. The S&P 500 index gained 0.9%. And the Nasdaq index added 124 points or 0.8%.
