Evening Report: ASX drops on busy day of company profits

The Aussie market fell for the first time this week as the ASX 200 ended its 3-day winning streak with a loss of 40 points or 0.54% to 7,491. It was a busy day for company profits as we near the end of August. Among the winners were travel stocks like Qantas and Flight Centre while A2 Milk disappointed the market with its results.
