Evening Report: Banks Help Lift The ASX 200 To Best Close In 3-Months

The ASX 200 has had its best day in 2 weeks with a 2.45% rally as banks did much of the heavy lifting. The index closed at the best levels in three months as global optimism helps drive equity markets higher.
