Evening Report: Local Shares Managed To Lift At The Start Of The New Week

The ASX 200 was down by 1.4% early in the day but rallied from lunch onwards to close 74 points or 1.4% higher to 5319. This is despite most other Asian markets falling along with US futures as tensions rise between the US & China over the origins of the coronavirus.
